Replacing Aqua Magic IV with Dometic 310 Question

I had to abruptly leave this year and toilet broke 2 hours before we left. One of the RV repairmen in the park looked at it and said to replace the Aqua Magic IV..... Question. Does anyone know if...

STOP VALVE!!! YES!!! I added one to ours and am very glad I did. In our case the Valve used about the same length of PEX as the height of the Pedestal, so I only had to cut once. The AM-IV uses a vertical supply line, so all I needed was about 2-in of UP direction.
