Replacing Aqua Magic IV with Dometic 310 Question

I had to abruptly leave this year and toilet broke 2 hours before we left. One of the RV repairmen in the park looked at it and said to replace the Aqua Magic IV.....

Question. Does anyone know if the floor flange bolts of the Aqua Magic IV will match up with the Dometic 310 bolt hole pattern without modifying the flange ?

I asked people at CW about it and they said the only thing standard with RV's was they were all different... Asked if they had a tech that would know and they said no... Hard to believe a tech wouldn't know the bolt hole patterns of 2 of the most popular toilet brands.. a little frustrating.
Thank You, Mike

Once again... OB manages to research in more detail than I could... Still, the flanges I've looked at have been Three-Inch Diameter, then Male Thread, Female Thread, or Glued. As long as it's NOT glued with different "clocking" of the toilets, or Glued and "clocking" IS the same, differing brands should mount up. Right, or am I missing a detail?
Speaking of Home Toilets, there's a standard "offset" (distance of flange bolts from wall), 12" if I recall, but some houses are different and some toilets are different. Flange still seemed the same, though.
  • Unfortunately.......

RV toilet floor flanges are not as standardized as home/commercial installs.

    The Aqua Magic IV uses 3 & 9 o'clock bolt pattern (Aurora uses 5 & 11)

Dometic 310/320 also use the 3 & 9 bolt pattern

I've had to remove/replace RV toilets and the flanges they attach to. I have NEVER been asked "What Brand of Toilet will you be Installing on this Flange?" Same with Home Toilets, too, by the way.
So I'm going to say, confidently, that the Toilet-to-Floor/Flange connection will be fine. But unlikely that the Water Supply will connect to the Dometic the same way it attached to the AquaMagic. Hardware and Big Box stores have PEX tubing and fittings.
If your Floor is Carpeted and you're going from Hand Flush to Foot Flush, you may need to trim the Carpet.
