“Seems like I have enough to accomplish my likely dry camping goals. And yet, I want to make the best use of my charging system, in order to squeeze out the most amps in the shortest time, at minimal loss, and maximum efficiency.”
Your reasoning seems fuzzy IMO. If your current solar system is refilling your batteries on most days why change anything? Yes, more efficiently i.e. faster with a MPPT, but why care if the PWM is adequate? Your “likely” dry camping needs? Get a need then replace.
