We are in the process of doing flooring replacement. All of the factory linoleum and some of the carpet that we can't keep looking nice is coming out. We are doing it ourselves. We aren't really concerned with resale value as we feel everything we are doing is for us and to make things look nicer. We may regret that later, but when we bought (used) there were already modifications to our RV that we saw value in that I'm sure someone looking for original configuration would not have. Carpet in RV's has its place (as Drew said above in the bedroom) but common areas are too hard to keep clean and presentable which is our goal.
