Replacing my suburban gas and electric 6 gallon water heater

Hi folks! The other night I was sitting in the booth after a shower and all of a sudden my foot started getting wet. Turned on the light and you betcha! My 10 yr old plus camper finally needs a water ...

Curious, did the tank itself fail ?...would be the only reason to replsce it.
Just thinking that 10 yrs is a rather short life for a RV water heater.
My same heater is 15 yrs old.
