Replacing starter rope on eu1000i Honda Gen

I need to replace the starter rope on my eu 1000 Honda. Anyone done the job, or know how difficult it mite be ? I can't find it on U-tube. Rich

From what I saw at the John Deere shop I took mine to, you're going to disassemble the unit. Doesn't look easy. It was only $40 to have it done. Saved me a lot of time.
