I saw video of a guy completely dismantling an eu1000, and several times he used a hammer on his "flips" screwdriver for some stuck screws. I wondered why not a little impact driver ??
I mite tear into it,.....the easy stuff. If its looking too complicated when I get to the inverter/wiring part, I can always about face on it (not likely)
But I hate those jobs where you need a shoehorn and an act of congress to stuff wiring and stuff back into a space that you swear to God could not ever have been in there !! if ya know what I mean.

I just did both of my 2000s. Never did a 1000, but I bet they are very close to the same.
There are several articles with pics on the net that I viewed first.
It is not real hard, but you need to be prepared for 2-3 stuck screws. a penetrating oil and dremel will make it easy.
