Probably the best thing you can do is replace those mirrors with Velvac Mirrors.
Find the part # you need depending on power, heated, etc., and if you want black or white, then see if you can get a set cheap on eBay. They also have good prices here at Ryder Fleet Products.
Nice thing about the Velvac is that you can buy replacement heads and even just the mirror glass if you need it.
