If you are 50 miles from town and get 100% of the channels with the Jack, it won't improve things by switching to a Wingman.
The argument is all about being parked at the extreme range from town for the Wingman, where the Jack won't do.
So how often does that happen? Is it "worth it" to have one over the other for YOUR amount of times in that situation?
I am thinking that most folks will be close enough to town so that they get "enough" stations that they will be ok with a Jack, If they happen to have a Wingman, they can do as well. Only in the extreme situations will the Wingman be the better choice.
So if the Jack is cheaper or more convenient, you have to decide how often will you be at such extreme distances from town so it matters which antenna you have. (Assuming you even have a TV that can pull in all those stations with its amplifier/tuner)
