Question is what about the Artis Power Drive model? That is the pump that came with the RV and has worked well to our satisfaction. Is the Shurflo just a better pump?
Has anyone had any trouble with the OE Artis Power Drive pump as either OE or replacement?
Put the one that is exactly what was originally in your RV.
I'll just add that when my water pump went out I called Mobile Repair and they came out with a new standard replacement pump.
After it was installed I didn't like how it worked and it was very loud. My original pump was not loud had high flow demand, low noise and no rapid cycling.
Long story short. We found out that my particular MH had the better water pump installed from the factory. The average and most commonly used water pump is around 65.00 bucks which is the model repair guy brought out.
Upon further inspection of the label on the factory installed pump showed that it was rated higher and the exact replacement of that pump would have been over $200 bucks. They looked the same on the outside but are not.
Since it was already in and I was 400 miles down the road when I noticed the difference it's till in the MH.
If you were happy with the OE pump get the same exact replacement.
