No such experience, but some general advice... Look in the packet of instruction manuals that came with the Moho. Find the KitchenAid one for the reefer. Find out what it says about warranty.
You're probably going to be on the hook for the diagnostic visit, since it was arranged without prior authorization. But unless there's specific warranty info in the manual, call Kitchenaid with specific model # and in-service date before proceeding any further to maybe avoid more charges.

(On late edit, also call the dealer and Winnebago. If nothing else, ask Winnie if the install is approved by Kitchen aid.)
