Residential Style Central Air - NOT Roof Air Question

I agree "Freon" is the accepted common word for the refrigerant when the specific number is not available or even matter for the discussion. Certainly the technician would verify the correct chemical and add what ever brand he has in the shop.

When a person asks for a Kleenex... Nobody says sorry I only have a Great Value brand facial tissue.
