I try and take care not to elevate threads beyond the reach of the average reader. Use of buzzwords and technicrosity serves to exclude many folks. I shun them whenever possible. There are lots of engineering forums where use of phasor algebra for example is appropriate. IMHO this forum is not one of them.
I agree. that's why I haven't used our "friends names" in posts, but try to explain as much as possible in easy to understand non technical terms. Explaining operation of circuits in terms of water pipes, water pressure, springs, shock absorbers etc. first, is something most folks can understand and visualize, and second doesn't have them go into "freeze" mode with math equations and terms that they don't know about or scare them.
