Ya i agree but you know how mechanics are. I tried explaining him we should be trying some other things but that went in one ear out the other. So if i have an ohm meter how can i use that to figure this out. What should be looking for. Ill have to check again but the fuse isn't blowing right away only when thrown into R...
Update:
You guys are fricking amazing. So since i was out of fuses i stole one from the interior 12V panel to test your trailer theory. Put it in and it didn't blow, turned the ignition and it didn't blow, so it was only blowing in R. Before i went an ruined the fuse i first removed the trailer 4 pin harness which took some work. Then to really isolate the issue i disconnected the trailer plug from underneath via another connector. Next put it in R and wala working reverse lights :) So needless to say you were right on with your theory's.

Now i would like to run fresh wires and connect the dock lights into reverse. What going to be the best way about doing that?
