Tireman9, your post above is very telling on why trailers are shipped with low bidder high k factor tires. Sad state of affairs! There seems to be a direct relationship between this and to number of threads about ST tires failing. Even for those that go to great lengths to do everything right with them, they still experience failures and trailer damage.

Given that Barry has not taken time to write about steel ply carcass commercial grade tires, maybe you will! Chris
