First you say you are going to upgrade to 17.5 inch tires, then you are going to stick with Towmaster ST. Recently you told me your trailer came with Marathon ST tires rated at 3000 pounds each from the factory, but then in other posts you have told me your axles are rated 67xx pounds. Its like watching a tennis match. Which way are you going to go tommorrow?
Cmon, this is the kind of post that leads to more, that leads to closing the threads. Your posts overall are very good, and I like your info. But in this case, a little more self control will go a long way.... If you have a problem with something FE or anyone posted in the past, it doesn't have any reason AT ALL to be in this thread. None. The same goes for a few other posters too.
Actually most tire threads get closed when FE starts pushing his ST tire agenda. Those of us that have been around for years have seen this happen time and again.
He hates the tire the most that has the highest consumer following of any tire ever mentioned on any tire forum. He goes to many RV brand forums to preach his agenda. That raises a lot of questions of motive and connections to ST tire industry/suppliers.
See if this rings any bells!!
The OP of this thread and tireman9 who are both true tire experts make unbiased posts about tires, as an expert should!
People who endorse the Michelin XPS RIB have actually used them over a period of years and are willing to pay a premium for a tire that gives such a high level of confidence out on the highway. For someone who has never use one to repeatly attack the product to the point of calling users lairs, needs to go look in a mirror!
