Actually this thread was started by CapriRacer. I would suggest aiming questions at the OP only.

IMO he's the only tire engineer that needs to be answering questions or it could get into a mix of this tire engineer says this and another tire engineer says that. Then throw in opinions from a new guy with a tire blog that has a history of getting tire threads closed and ....... well we all know where that leads.
