Possibly strong? First we had LRE ST rated at 3420 at 80 lbs then one rated at 3520 at 80 lbs and now one slightly larger (85 series) rated to 3640 at 80 lbs? Just who are they trying to kid?
Talk about a higher K factor.
Lets compare these two tires.
ST235/85R16E 3640 at 80 = 45.5 k factor
LT235/85R16G 3750 at 110 = 34.09 k factor
And for giggles:
LT235/85R16E 3042 at 80 38.025 k factor
How can they keep pushing up the ratings of ST tires without increasing inflation? Maybe it is time to test ST tires to the same standards that LT tires are required to meet?
