Why? Here is a direct quote; "Light truck tire means a tire designated by its manuafacturer as primarily intended for use on lightweight trucks or multipurpose passenger vehicles(DOT)." Testing for them must take that quote seriously and test accordingly.

ST tires are just designed as free rolling tires fitted to stationary axles. They are speed restricted and are subjected to some braking actions.
