Doesn't the tongue weight have to be included?
I thought we were just discussing the particular posters axles, what they are rated for, the tires the manufacturer gave him, and what margin he is running them at. The point I was making, regardless of tongue weight (from 5 pounds to 1500 pounds), should he find himself running 3500 pounds on each axle some day, the current tires won't have the 15% margin, however, the ones I suggested would have more than 15%. The tongue/pin weight would just be the amount over 7000 pounds that the posters trailer would weight under those conditions and would have no bearing on the appropriate tire for running at maximum GAWR.
