What will get attention is if people will just stop buying tires made in China.I know America some times is not the best as I had Firestone tires years ago.I happen to have had the luck of installing eight Firestone's at the time on a van and pick up.And five of the eight did not make it till the tread wore out.
They were not the recalled tires but made in the same factory and were never recalled so you can not depend on our government to look after us.
What will talk is refusing to buy tires that are made in China.Going by a bad repetition is not good enough as I think they change the name of tires every few mouths as people start to complain.
I have been told by two Goodyear people that Goodyear is or has stopped making tires in China.But they are still out there as I went to two dealers and both of them still had trailer tires made in China.
