Yeah, read it and thank you for posting the worksheet as it backs up what we've been telling you all along that the tires on a trailer have a load rating equal to or higher than those offered by the manufacturer. Notice it says "load rating equal to or greater". Notice also it doesn't reference the placard as the required sourse for a owner replacing tires on a trailer.
Regarding the 570.09/.62 regs says:
) Inspection procedures. Examine visually.
A major mismatch in tire size
designation, construction, and profile
between tires on the same axle, or a
major deviation from the size as recommended
by the manufacturer (e.g.,
as indicated on the glove box placard
on 1968 and later passenger cars) are
causes for rejection.
Again it says nothing about replacement tire have to be the same as the tire placard.
