My VOQ to NHTSA included Name, address, phone number so again I'm not hiding anything, even when filing an official complaint with the government. I have no reason to hide my info from them especially since I have taught a course, at NHTSA in Washington, on tire failure analysis so it would be hard for me to hide.

I don`t think Washington got the message like on every thing else the people tell them.
Guess what just happened? I got a call from NHTSA regarding the complaint I filed.
Normally they would not follow up with a phone call but it this case thay wanted to know if I was the owner.
I told them that the RV was seen at a show and a picture was captures by another person I was communicating with on an RV forum.
They will be sending the information to the RV manufacturer and we will see what happens in the next couple of weeks.
So I will take this as proof that actually collecting the facts such as RV mfg, complete tire size, VIN, loading and inflation if a tire failure was involved can get action.
Now to those that simply want to vent, Please feel free to continue to post stuff on various forums but if you actually want to get the system changed then you need to make the effort to file a complaint with the appropriate data.
If you want any help with what is needed to complete a report let me know and I will make this the topic of a future post on my blog.
