We were having ST tire problems even when the national speed limit was 55 mph. I know in my state our troopers and even local county sheriffs and city PDs were watching very close.
Too many times we see posters that run at 60 mph speeds but still had tire issues IE; blowout/cap seperation/chunking issues/tread belt speration. The theory that the owner somehow abused his tires is just that in most cases.
A couple have admitted driving over 65 mph or may not have used proper pressures but the vast majority that have had issues didn't abuse their trailers tires.
And its not just RV folks that have ST tire issues. Lots of other websites that invovle the use of some type of a trailer shows the same results.
However its moot point when those owners moved up to a better tire and had no more tire issues.
