Is that why the Maxxis and old Denman get better user reports? Both are much heavier tires than the bunch of 35 pounders.
And is that why going to the all steel ply tires like the Michelin XPS RIB and Bridgestone Duravis R250 is even another step up the ladder of putting tire failures behind you? We just do not see reports of these two failing in trailer use and are very common in commercial use on 6K axles.
Road hazards and impact damage may be the achilles heal of most ST tires! Chris
It's not clear who you were responding to, but since you mentioned road hazards and impact damage, you might be responding to my post - and if you were - I mentioned those in the context of SIDEWALL blowouts, which I don't think is the type of failure we are discussing relative to ST tires.
