Is the GAWR (3500#) depicted on the vehicle certification label? Or did you get that figure from the tag (s) on the axles?
The certification label is the only number the vehicle manufacturer must use when selecting OE tires. Of course, the vehicle manufacturer may set the GAWR on the certification label. In any event, it is binding, and becomes the minimum standard to meet with OE tires.
