Rhino coating is a good product. Nice to see they've found another application for use. Back in the day, I was a hovercraft enthusiast. Many of us started to Rhino coat our hulls. Boulders on the river were much less of a problem after that.

I wonder how much weight the application would add, if you have a low ccc it may be prohibitive.

In my case 12 pounds or less. I weighted the producr before application

Good to know, I thought it would be much heavier than that.

  • I think it's been around a while, still it looks like a good alternative. I didn't dig too deep in a Google search, but this came up (March 2011): Click here.

  • I did one of my roofs last week, I'm doing the other this week. I'm using GrizzlyGrip, same type of material but white. it does go pretty good.
the materiaal costed me $400, application is 1 day. A local shop did the first one when the added one AC for 300.
  • Never heard of it for an RV...but I'd give it a try. My front cap/rubber roof seam constantly need attention. Hmmm........
