I have 9451, but I'm not worried about a problem thats not there or we would have seen it when handling the pot when running it up and down to look at the regulation limits. That wire is twisted in its sheath, hence already running in differential mode. Besides, this is a REALLY low impedance piece of the circuit and not likely to pick up stray noise unless you park under an AM transmitter. This is a 500 Ohm pot. If it were 500k, that would certainly be a different story.
