I recently turned a Slab of Parota wood into a bartop.
Very Beautiful but kinda soft so I encased it in thick hard epoxy.
Slabs of it go for big $ up here. It is pretty light too.
There appears to be a movement to keep Guanacaste trees from being cut down in Mexico.
But if the trunk is thick enough the tree could pay for some Copper and silicon.

Make that rooftop cargo carrier big enough to carry a slab up north, return south with Wattage.
