I'm not sure, but I think the problem you had with matching up the panel and the load may be a different issue than what Mex had suggested I do. Would the controller itself constitute a load? If I understood, I think Mex was suggesting simulating the voltage of a single 24v panel, by bucking the voltage of two 12v panels in series, and sending that to the controller?
