Liquid Rubber or Liquid RV Roof is what most people use. Didn't try, my time hasn't come yet. Both products are same composition, it's just that "Liquid RV Roof" is marketed for RV, so they charge few bucks more. I've been told it's very dense, can be rolled but not brushed.
It's interesting that you have rubber coating over aluminum. Most trailers have rubber over plywood. Maybe yours is some thick paint, not a rubber.
