Used my camper for the first time this year and currently still camping. I turned on the air conditioner on and it ran fine for awhile but when I went back in after awhile I could barely feel it blowing out the vents. I took the top off and made sure everything was clean. I turned it back on and it was blowing like normal. I went back in a few hours later and it was barely blowing again. I'm thinking that the blower motor is getting bad and it's hearing up and slowing up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hoping its something easy, supposed to be close to 90 the next couple of days. Thanks

Any chance that ice is forming on the condenser restricting air flow?

I had a similar problem and the coils were freezing and blocking the air flow. I could see the ice when I removed the air filters. Normally this is caused from dirty filter restricting air flow across the coils resulting in ice forming. Not so in my case. Turned out to be the evaporator temp sensor had come unclipped from the coils. I had to remove the top side cover and the housing cover to discover it. Not a normal occurrence issue but thought I would share.

(Yes even the evap temp sensor problem). Mine became unclipped too.I would bet that is what happened to the OP also. Maybe not the evap temp sensor, but I would bet its ICE likely dirty filter in the RV.

I checked the filters that are in the rv and they seem to be clean. Ill have to run it today and take the cover back off and see if it is icing up after awhile.

The icing over is quite easy to see from the bottom side with air filter cover dropped down... This happens to us sometimes when it is a real humid night...For us however we usually just shut down the unit and it is good to go again in 15-30 minutes later.This could also be a LOW VOLTAGE coming from the camp ground pedestal... I have one of these RV120VAC PLUG in AC VOLTMETER units that I can glance at. I like it because it has the "SAFE ZONE" green scale marked on the front. If the AC VOLTAGE is outside the green scale we will not turn on our air conditioner. Roy Ken

PEIREK---that is more common than you think. That very same thing happened to my A/C in my living room (window unit). (Yes even the evap temp sensor problem). Mine became unclipped too.

I would bet that is what happened to the OP also. Maybe not the evap temp sensor, but I would bet its ICE likely dirty filter in the RV.
