OMG. Back in the day we studied fractions in school. But we also studied history and science. Now I didn't learn as much as I should, still can't spell, and English leaves a lot to be desired, but I could see things needed to be divided.
When I need to know how big to drill a hole I don't pick up a tape measure, but a micrometer, measure the pin, add what I want for easy fit, and pick the bit.
