Give a man a fish, feed him for a day, teach a man to fish, feed him for life.

Take the decimal portion only, in this case .17, and multiply it by a medium accuracy measurement, say 16ths. So in this case, 16 x 0.17 = 2.72. So that would be 2.72 / 16ths.

    If that’s not close enough move up to higher accuracy units, for example, 64ths would be 64 x 0.17 = 10.88 / 64ths. So that would be 14 and 10.88 / 64ths.
  • Given the comment "Please allow 0.5-1 inch difference due to manual measurement.(1inch=2.54cm)" in the listing, I'd call it about 14 1/8", more or less, and be prepared for it to be a little different.

Undoubtedly the original specication (which may not be precisely reflected in the stated specifications) was in metric units.
  • Why aren't you selecting it by application? Find one that's listed for the vehicle you're going to use it on.

In order of decreasing accuracy, 14.17 inches is
    14 11/64 inches (14.171875 inches)
    14 5/32 inches (14.15625 inches)
    14 3/16 inches (14.1875 inches)

Since that diagram appears to show the MAXIMUM length, I would not exceed it. Therefore, I would use 14 5/32 inches.
