The starting surge load on it will be quite high getting the AC going, but once they're started some RV AC's will run at little as 1200watts, so you may not be as close to its limits as you think you are, I really wouldn't worry about it, like others have said, it will trip its protection if it goes too high. If you are really concerned though you could buy a kill-a-watt meter and check it out, see exactly what its drawing.
