I didn't realize it was that common....I thought I discovered a new whiz-bang doo-dad!! Near as I can tell I don't have one of these...doesn't much matter though I rarely run the HW heater on electric. I usually run it on gas in the am for shower/dishes then turn off during the day and fire it again in the evening for dishes again.
