1. This device is great for 30 amp RV's
2. NOT needed on 50 amp RV's
3. MOST OEM's when the RV is 30 amps, use a double throw wall switch instead of this auto transfer device. They usually have the switch between the Water Heater and the Optional Fireplace. Some even have it to switch between the Roof AC and the Water Heater. The reason they do NOT use the Auto switch is cost.
4. In todays market with the multitude of 120 appliances, RVer's should NEVER buy a 30 amp RV, they should insist on the 50 amp RV. Some OEM's have 50 amp as an option. Doug
