Rusted bumper

Question

Hi, I have a 3 year old larado.  We 4 wheel our trailer on the beach. I took the rust off the stairs and rustolume it but now I see my back bumper which is black is starting to get corrosion.   Can someone tell me how this can be fixed?  Thanks

Sand or clean surface rust off then apply a good coat or two of Rustoleum gloss black. Either in spray can or brush on (quart can).

I have had success using rusty metal primer.  If it is in an out of sight area I brush it on; two coats, be sure to follow the application instructions, and seal it with a Rust-Oleum® gloss top coat.
