RV damage and repair fix help

Hey how is everyone? I recently bought a 2021 Coachmen Leprechaun Model 260DS. Past week there was an issue caused by negligence and I caused some damage. Curious if anyone has any advice on how I could possibly repair some of the parts, or if I would just be better of replacing/going to a body shop.

I appreciate any help or advice moving forward.

What damage? One thing is if you hand it in for them to fix it, you will not have the Rv for a long time, so no camping. If you can fix it yourself and keep camping with it as required, that can be good.

It is mostly about money and insurance though.

also this time of year until it warms up next year it will be too cold out to use some of the glues/tapes/paint you might need. "They " have heated indoor shops.
  • Damage is to the dome on the top of the roof and the door for the side pod is bent. I was attempting to post photos but I am having difficulties posting them here.

Damage is strictly just bent pod covers and dome lid on the roof.
  • What sort of damage are we talking about? What sort of skills, time, and equipment do you have? How concerned are you that a repair look perfect vs. simply being safe and solid but possibly not entirely aesthetic?

Depending on what you need done, repairs can range from super easy for anyone with a couple thumbs to do, to requiring a lot of work and/or being difficult for the shade tree mechanic to do neatly, and maybe even beyond to where it's not practical to repair at all but rather part out and start over. The last option would usually be pretty obvious: you're staring at a pile of ash and soot, say, or the components that once made up a trailer scattered over the highway median.
