Not that I will want that many batteries (a post in itself). I will be looking into batteries on this thread as well.
I have been VERY happy with my 4 Sams Club 6VDC golf cart batteries. Purchaced back in 05 and still going strong. Those batteries are in my older 93 Pace Arrow Diesel Pusher that's curruntly for sale.
I have a feeling that the 6 Excide 6VDC batteries have been abused.
Shortly sfter I took ownership of the 07 Discovery I saw that I had low batteries. T was currently plugged in so I checked the batteries & found ONE terminal that was hotter that a cherynoble reactor core! I replaced 2 battery cables.
I have not done ANY load testing or checked the SC yet.
Also, looking at my battery bank above...Where do I get those small battery hold downs? I won't have a problem with the threaded rods, just the hold downs.
I was looking a the batteries at Smas Club & notice they have the same "ears" on each side for hold downs. Also noticed some AGM golf cart batteries on the shelfs! Now more to look into!
