OK, for now, tilting panels are out. I could always upgrade to tilting panels down the road.
I should focus on placement now. As stated earlier I need to get some cardboard mockups of the panels and play around with placement as stated above.
Once I have decided on a particular panel I then need to decide parallel or serial connecting the panels. The shade issue with serial connected panels worry me plus I'm being told the Morningstar 60AMP MPPT charge controller "might" not be enough.
Right now I have the 4 6VDC batteries, I checked the SC on three of the 4 and the numbers look good. No dead cells. I'll have to move one of the cables slightly to get the caps off on the 4th battery.
"if" I went with a 24VDC battery bank I assume I'd be swapping out my Xantre Freedom coverter/inverter..that idea would jack up the co$t of the system significantly.
