When my lights wouldn't work, I knew it was a wiring problem, so I started looking for the wiring issues. I couldn't find anything, and as a last resort, I found a bad bulb. one filament broke the other one. Learned a lesson there. Start with the simple stuff first.
My bet is a bad bulb only. Had the same thing happen, filament broke, took out the other one also. Probably will find the bulb burned black inside.
