This 7 pin/4 pin tester does the same thing in reverse. You plug it into the truck's 7 pin connector, or the truck's 4 pin connector, and lights on it tell you that you have power to the pins, or not. If any of the lights light up, the ground is also good. Any of the lights that WON'T light up, that pin has no power.
