Sad story.
Here's a story for ya, true life story. We where on a trip with our travel trailer and suddenly had a tire blow on the trailer. Got it over to the side of the road and got out to see what had happen...
Road side assistance programs work on an "in network" system. Meaning that of the handful of capable shops in the area probably only one ( and that's never a guarantee) has a contract with good sam. They dont pay for the tire either. Personally I haven't had RSA in 10 years. Had a few flats in the past few years. Always back on the road in an hour by being able to call everyone until I get some who can respond right now. I doubt I'm even spending any more money.
