I have an Samsung S3 and when the battery is 100% and I unplug it within 10 min it will drop to 45%. Can I get a new battery or do I need to replace the phone?

I have a S3 that I got when they first came out and I can go all day + with the original battery.
If you are using an app to kill unwanted apps, get rid of it as it will cause extra battery drain big time. I had the killer app and it would kill my battery before lunch.
