Every time you use that A/B switch you are going to get a similar arc across its contacts. This will shorten its life unless you unplug the receiver before switching antennas. If you are using a SWM system, you also need to unplug the power inserter. Once you switch antennas with the A/B switch, power everything back up and all is good. I learned this the hard way!
