Satellite Fider as OTA Signal Strength Meter

I have a "satellite finder" meter, with coax TV cable terminals on it, that apparently is used to aim a portable satellite dish.
We don't have satellite, but would this meter be able to find the best aiming point for a Winegard Off The Air (DTV) antenna?

  • "TV Antenna Helper (FREE)" for Android will give you the location of digital OTA signals via your smartphone gps.
  • One of my cheapy digital to analog tuners has a strength meter built into it.

Winegard makes one but they are too pricey for me.

Here is one a little cheaper.

  • Just go here and enter your location. It will tell you where to point your antenna!

    Wrong frequency but right idea.
