great idea. The last time I took it in to have it worked on, thinking it may be a catalytic converter problem, turned out to be the computer, I looked all over for that code reader port and could never find it. Supposed to be somewhere close to the steering column. Never did find it. I do have a "fixit" code reader so I will try7 again to find that port. Will let you know what becomes of this.
