your inwall wire is more than likely pinched when the rails got changed.
The wires are not pinched. They travel down inside a rubber piece and can't get pinched. I can see the wires at the bottom go under the slide. These wires were all tested. When the slide is halfway out you can visually see them where they make their turn from vertical to horizontal. I hope someone who had the same problem will chime in. Thanks for reading and your suggestions.
you can say no no no all you want it is 1 a pinched wire 2 wire connector bad 3 motor bad ...
Most everyone knows more about this stuff than me. Two different people checked these wires continuity along with me and we all came up with the same result. The motor is brand new as is the controller. Now, when I push the in/out button, I don't get a code anymore and only hear the motors for a brief second. Now, all the red and green lights are off. When I send power through the harness from the battery and not using the controller, both motors work just fine. I am going to talk to Lippert tomorrow and see what they have to say. I will try and get a pro out. My neighbor looked at it for three hours. He travels the world working for Tetra Pac. The company that makes those three story tall machines that take a roll of paper and a tank of product and in a flash it spits out milk in a carton or juice in a box. These machines are sophisticated and he was totally puzzled after doing numerous tests. I will check the wires again. Thanks for your time and help.
