Unless you have a LOT of time working on Schwintek system's(I DO), most RV Techs will not want to work on them. Most if the time it requires parts when the system fails and those parts are rarely available locally. But, I have never had a motor lift up at all as long as it was installed CORRECTLY. You must make sure the motor set screw is installed INTO the oval hole slot of the motor. There are 4 different ways for that motor to be installed. FYI, when the system FAILS to extend(motor has usually seized) and you NEED to get the motor lifted up and removed, the ONLY way to do it is usually destroying the motor, because that set screw will NOT allow that motor to lift up, even with a chisel and hammer knocking it up. So, if yours lifts up, you are not installing it correctly. Doug
